It will eventually be an ebook I don't know the timing - Ill find out and report back

Plenty of pics, Allocated 48 but not sure if all those submitted will make the book. Many are of the factory and processes some are documents eg the GPD contarct - never seen before. Afew of the USAAF at Hethel in WWII and some of the people that made the whole thing happen.

Alister,

Yes, it's taken four years. Collating the data was the interesting part - plenty of facts and figures - all had to be checked and rechecked again. Some of the more sensitive material had to be justified and substantiated prior to the publisher accepting the work - that took a little more time but worth it - a few surprises and some disturbing stories . However, the most difficult part was making the book readable this was the toughest challenge. I found early Sunday mornings 6am to be the best time to write as I knew I wouldn't be disturbed until about 10am.

It's a very different to any other DeLorean book as it reflects on the local scene in Belfast during the period 1978 -1983 most others concentrate on John's early life then jump to the drugs issue.

I'll be in hiding the day after the book's launch. And not just from the literary critics

Thanks for the interest.
